Alice Scie Thomas entered eternal rest on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at the age of 61. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Harvey, LA. Beloved wife of Darryl Thomas. Loving mother of Deanna (Richard) Carter. Stepmother of Rachael (Michael) Levingston, and Ashley (Jefferson) Brundidge. Grandmother of Teanna Landry, and Reanna Carter. Daughter of Annie Scie and the late Samuel Scie, Sr. Sister of Samuel Scie, Anthony Davis, Pythenia Butler, Ivorynell Robinson, Dianne Wiltz, David Scie, Janet (Ann) Scie, Paul (Florine) Scie, Ida (Mark)Benson, Matthew Scie, Nora Bankston, and the late Joseph Scie, Sr., and Frederick Scie. Sister-in-law of Delores (Robert) Pellette, Denise (Thomas) Gibbs, Gregory (Beverly) Thomas, Gary (Iris) Thomas, Tyrone (Sandra) Thomas, Larry Thomas, and the late Andrew Thomas, and Lonnie Thomas. Alice is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Saint Mark Baptist Church are invited to attend the funeral services at, Saint Mark Baptist Church, 1929 Huey P Long Ave. Gretna, LA. on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 10:00a.m. Rev. Dr. Joseph L. Hampton, Sr., officiating. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above-named church.
