ALBERT STAMPS, SR.

Albert Stamps, Sr., entered eternal rest on Friday, July 26, 2024, at the age of 66. He was a native of Harvey, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Albert was a graduate of West Jefferson High School, and he was a retired employee with Avondale Shipyard as a welder/ fitter. Beloved husband of Jennifer Roussell Stamps. Devoted father of Albert (Chrishonda) Stamps, Jr., Sean (Evonne) Johnson, Xavier Stamps, Maurice Stamps, Christopher Stamps, Kendrick (Dionndra) Roussell, Ahmad Hill, Crystal (Bronson) LaFrance, and the late Kaylan Clark. Son of the late Ulysses Stamps, Sr. and Willie Mae Stamps. Brother of Ulysses Stamps, John (Rose) Davis, and the late Robert, and Floyd, also survived by 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of New Testament Baptist Bible Center, Covenant Family Church, Israel Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to a Celebration of Life at Israel Baptist Church, 1612 Esther St. Harvey, LA on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Albert Stamps, Jr. Officiating.
