Alfred Alexander, Jr entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at the age of 65. He was a native of New Orleans, and a resident of Marrero, LA. Alfred was a graduate of West Jefferson High School and was employed as a self employed Mechanic. Devoted father of Latasha Alexander, Justin Quincy Jones, Alicia Veal, Alfred Alexander, III, and Leatrice Valentine. Beloved son of Arnishie Allean Dillon Alexander and the late Alfred “Big Red” Alexander, Sr. Grandson of the late Van Dee Dillon, Sr. and Selina Magee Dillon, Gertrude Williams, and Joseph Butler Alexander. Brother of Michael, David, and Randy Alexander, Williesteen A. Burroughs, Lisa Alexander Hensley, Arnell Alexander Moore, and the late Wanda J. Alexander. Uncle of the late Shawna Smith, Dwayne Hudson, Randy Smith, and David Brignac. Brother in law of the late Troy Hensley, also survived by 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church, New Zion Baptist Church, and neighboring churches  are invited to attend the Funeral Service at DAVIS MORTUARY SERVICE, 6820 WESTBANK EXPRESSWAY MARRERO, LA on Friday, October 22, 2021, at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. until service time at the above-named parlor.
