ALEX WILSON, JR.

Alex Wilson, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 18, 2021 at the age of 80. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Alex was a retired Custodian of Charity Hospital. Beloved husband of Barbara Jean Johnson Wilson. Loving father of Wanda Wilson Taylor, Deborah Ann Wilson, and Michael Wilson, Sr.  Son of the late Alex Wilson, Sr., and Margie Virgin Wilson. Brother of Charles Wilson, Charite Young, Delores Wilson, and Lucille Hudson; also survived by 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Homegoing Celebration at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1738 L. B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 10:00a.m.  Pastor Norman Francis, officiating.  Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service at the church.
