ALBERTA SISLER CAMPBELL

Alberta Sisler Campbell entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at the age of 72. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Alberta was a graduate of L. W. Higgins High School, and she was a retired employee with Noire Designs and Renovations as a Construction H R Manager. Longtime companion of 30 years to Clarence Paul, Jr. Devoted mother of Shannon N. Walker, Benjamin Walker, III, Amanda F. Walker (Murray Wallace), Tamaka A. Campbell, and Keisha Smith, her niece whom she raised as her daughter. Daughter of the late Isiam Sisler and Amiee Pearl Sisler Couto. Sister of Pastor Cornell Sisler, and the late Yvonne Hooper, Nolan Dumas, and Melvin Sisler, also survived by 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Israel Baptist Church, Second Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to a Celebration of Life at Israel Baptist Church, 1612 Esther St. Harvey, LA on Friday, July 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Pastor James Houston, officiating - Pastor Darrell McKinnies Host Pastor.
