ALBERT WALTER DILLON, JR.

Albert Walter Dillon, Jr., entered into eternal life at Ochsner Medical Center Jefferson Highway on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at the age of 61. He was a native of Independence, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Albert was a graduate of Booker T. Washington Class of 1980 and attended Delgado Community College. He was a former employee of Ludwig as a painter, and a salesperson with Canteen. Beloved husband of Tempy Rebecca Dillon. Loving father of Latisha, Katrina, Anescia, and Albert, III. Devoted grandfather of Daciana, Iyonna, Sherrell, Reggie, Hunter, Logan, Major, Mekhi, Ronald, Jr., and Maasai. Son of the late Albert, Sr., and Mary Dillon. Grandson of the late Robert, Sr., and Julia Austin, Cleveland Dillon, and Agnes Smith. Brother of Alvin Dillon. Father-in- law of the late Ronald Johnson, Sr., also survived by a host of other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. at the above named parlor.
