ADRIENNE ANNA HARPER-POOLE

Adrienne Anna Harper-Poole gained her wings on Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the age of 48. She was a native of Westwego, LA and resident of Marrero, LA. She attended L. W. Higgins High School and was a member of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church.  Beloved wife of Lavern Poole. Devoted mother of Alicia, Sullivan, and Terrell (Candice) Harper, Faith Bradley, and the late Fountainette Bradley. Loving grandmother of Sullivan Jr., Taraji, Terrell Jr., and Tahj Harper, Ezre’al Hamburg, and A’layah Williams. Daughter of Ada “Babylil” Harper and William Nellon, Jr. Stepdaughter of the late Wilmer Gilyard. Granddaughter of the late Louella Washington and Jessie Lee Nellon.  Sister of Theresa, Terry, Lisa, Felicia, Andrew (Patricia), Livingston (Antionette) Edward (Tammy), and David (Monica) Harper. She was preceded in death by the father of her children Sullivan Dixon. Adrienne is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of True Vine Missionary Baptist Church, St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1738 L. B. Landry Ave. New Orleans, LA on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Norman Francis, host pastor; Rev. Lee Franklin, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time.
