Dorothy Dot Mae Williams departed this life on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 11:00p.m. at her residence in Marrero, La. Beloved mother of Delores Hawkins, Marilyn Landry, Gloria (Morris) Burras, Linda Williams, and Dianne Williams. Daughter of the late Charles and Laura Stevens, also survived by 13 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 4 sisters, 6 brothers, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 78 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Mary Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at St. Mary Baptist Church 6223 6th Ave. Marrero, La. on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Edward Joseph officiating (No Wake) Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Providence Cemetery-Metairie, La.
