Joyce Adams departed this life on Monday, September 5, 2011 at her residence. Devoted mother of Sterling, Jared, and Jenar Adams. Companion of James Brumfield, Jr. Daughter of Clyde Adams, Sr. and the late Marie Callie Sue Adams. Grandmother of Ashton Nobel, Zaketa Williams, Ronique Atkinson, Jared Helton, Earnisha Johnson and Jenara Helton. Great grandmother of Aliyanna Brown. Sister of Elizabeth, Cassandra and Clyde Adams, Jr., Kenneth, Ricky, and Shanneri Caine. Also survived by her caregiver Shirlene Brown and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Age: 57 years a native of Chicago, Il., and a lifelong resident of Algiers, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Greater Moring Star Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Greater Morning Star Baptist Church, 1242 Vallette St. Algiers, La. on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
