Verna May Moore entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, December 1, 2010 in New Orleans, La. Beloved daughter of Yvonna Moore and the late Dan Elliott. Beloved sister of Glenda Moore Coats, Jerome, Leonard, Darrel, Kenneth, and Cleveland Moore. Sister in law of Willie Coats and Evangeline Moore. Devoted friend of Mae Bell, Perry Bigham, and Alexis, also survived by 12 nieces, 7 nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 55 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Westwego, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Progressive Church, Second Salvation Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Progressive Church 437 Cohen St. Marrero, La. on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Sterling Mealancon officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery-Westwego, La.
