Linda Nelson Burrell entered into eternal rest on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at 7:07p.m. Beloved wife of the late Tyrone Anthony Burrell. Loving mother of Lavinia, Darnell, Takeisha, Julia, Tyrone, Marchand, Linda, Walter, Tamara, Rene and Peter Nelson, and Taisha Coffil. Caregiver of Cleveland Nelson. Daughter of Herbert Frontier and the late Lavinia Celestine Nelson. Granddaughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Celestine. Sister of Alton Celestine and the late Carolyn Mimms; also survived by 24 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 57 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of New Hope Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at New Hope Baptist Church, 1807 Lasalle St., New Orleans, La. on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
