Harold Nelson Hooper, Sr.

Harold Nelson Hooper was called home by the Angels on Monday, September 3, 2012, at the ripe old age of 90. Beloved father of Sylvia Hooper, Harold Hooper, Jr., Debra Hooper, Errol (Judy) Hooper, Tira (the late Clarence) Jones, Brian Hooper, Barbara Williams, Cassandra Phillips and Gayle Bartholomew. Son of the late Sandy Hooper, Jr. and Selica Rogers Edwards. Brother of Doris Hooper-Pitts and the late Sterling Hooper, Sr. Brother-in-law of the late Ernest Pitts, Jr.; also survived by 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, True Vine Baptist Church, Second Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; members of People of Ages and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority are invited to attend the Funeral Service at True Vine Baptist Church, 249 Sala Ave. Westwego, La., on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Pastor James Weathersby, host pastor- Pastor Thomas J.
