Geraldine Dine Junior Carter went home to be with the Lord on the morning of Friday, October 21, 2011. When Dine could no longer fight her battle on Earth, God called her saying Come and rest and get your heavenly reward. Loving mother of Francheska Carter, Corey (Connie) Carter and Nelson (Jacquelyne) Carter, Jr. Grandmother of Ashganaistan, Coranika, and DaJane Taylor, Nelshaun Miller, Jamira Cleveland, Nelson Carter, III, Nakai Carter and Jai Jason. Father of her children Nelson Carter, Sr. Daughter of the late Henry and Rosalie Junior. Sister of the late Carol L. Junior, Jerry and William Junior; also survived by 5 sisters, 2 brothers and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws other relatives and friends. Age: 63 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a lifelong resident of Marrero, La., where she was well known in the Lincolnshire neighborhood. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Household of Faith Church and al neighboring churches; employees of Jefferson Door Co., Jefferson Parish Water Dept., Jefferson Parish Sheriffs Office and Pro-Audio are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Household of Faith Church, 2074 Paxton St. Harvey, La. on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
