Stephanie McGrew Mitchell-Sparks departed this life peacefully on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at her Houston, Tx. residence at the age of 53. Beloved wife of Ernest Sparks. Devoted mother of Breshana Mitchell. Loving daughter of Barbara McGrew and the late Sylvester McGrew, Sr. Sister of Sylvester Jr. (Brenda), Harold (Khristine) and Wayne (Tiffaney) McGrew, Belinda (Ray) Smith, Gina (Chauncey) Killebrew, Nina McGrew and Ida Mae Martin, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Rock of Ages Baptist Church and neighboring churches, a employees of Jefferson Parish School Board System, Cetco Inc, Ray Brandt Body Shop Collision Center, Memphis City Schools, Stewart Lender Services and New Prospect Consulting Company are invited to attend the home going services at Rock of Ages Baptist Church 6533 Acre Rd. Marrero, La. on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 10:00A.M. Visitation will begin at 8:00A.M. until service time at the above named church.
