Hilda Malveaux

Hilda Judge Malveaux, a retired operating room assistant with West Jefferson Medical Center, departed this life at Wynhoven Health Care Center on Sunday, November 25, 2012 at 4:15a.m. Beloved wife of the late Leroy Malveaux, Sr. Devoted mother of Helen (Tim) Brown, Leroy (Sandra) Malveaux, Jr., Warren (Mona) Malveaux, Walter (Sheila) Malveaux, Octavia (Horace) Fennidy, John (MaryAnn) Malveaux and the late Linda Marie Alexander and Michael Dick Malveaux. Daughter of the late Walter Judge and Louise Rideau. Stepdaughter of the late Loretta Judge. Sister of Allen Judge, Eugene Davis, Mercedes Brown, Mary Louise Guidry, Merlene Green, Jacqueline Durgin and the late Barbara Larkins; also survived by 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. A special heartfelt thanks to Wayne Plaisance, Jane Fockler, the staff of Wynhoven Health Care, Notre Dame Hospice and Kindred LTAC Unit at West Jefferson Medical Center. Age: 83 years a native of Rideau, La. and a resident of Westwego, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 455 Ames Blvd. Marrero, La. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
