Ollie J. Antoine

Ollie J. Antoine, age 70, a retired educator with New Orleans Public School System was granted her angel wings on Monday, November 14, 2011 in her residence, surrounded by family and friends. She was a native of Morgan City, La. and a resident New Orleans, La. for the past 42 years. Mother of Gwen Robertson (David), Sharon Antoine of N.O., La., Wyvette Antoine (Reginald) of Baton Rouge, La., Sheila (Terrence) Simmons of Austin, Tx. and Jewell (Ronn) Johnson of Pennsauken, N.J. Beloved daughter of Gertrude D. Johnson of Morgan City, La. and the late Anthony Johnson, Sr. Brother of Anthony Johnson, Jr. of Morgan City, La. and the late Edwenia Bolden and Leroy Johnson, Sr., also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Beautiful Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches and employees of Orleans Parish School Board, are invited to attend the funeral service at Beautiful Zion Baptist Church 1017 Elmira St. Algiers, La. on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
