Gwendolyn (Gwen) Casimier Burns departed this life on Sunday December 18, 2011. She attended Jefferson Parish Public Schools. Beloved wife of Melvin Burns. Devoted mother Doniesha Casimier, Doneka Casimier, Ronshika Lewis and Kara Evans. Daughter of the late Ernest and Estelle Refuge Casimier. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 3 sisters, 4 brothers and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, sisters in law, brothers in law, cousins other relatives and friends. Age: 48 years a native of New Orleans, La. and lifelong resident of Gretna, La.
