Claudia Florence Verrett the lord called his angel home on Wednesday, April 6, 2011. Daughter of the late Walter and Juanita Mitchell. Mother of Norma Verrett Southall, Barbara Ann Singleton Payton Anderson, Beverly Ann Singleton Dixon, Bunny Bernadette C. Verrett Gabriel, and Veronica E. Verrett McCurdy. Sister of the late Blanche O. Mitchell White. Devoted aunt of Kenneth Brown, Sr. Godmother of Barbara Barnes. Mother in law of Irvin Southall, Clarence Gabriel, Jr., Keith Anderson, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends Age: 93 years a native of Wallace, La. and a resident of Gretna, La.
