Barbara Ann Stripling Lewis entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at Tulane Medical Center. Beloved wife of the late Vincent Lewis. Mother of Eugene Lewis, Cheryl Sykes and the late Byron Stripling. Daughter of the late Monroe and Carmen Stripling. Sister of Jerome (Tonya) Stripling of Palm Bay, Fl. and the late Calvin, Monroe, Jr. and Warren Stripling; also survived by 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 74 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also, priest and parishioners of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 411 North Rampart St., New Orleans, La., on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 10:00a.m.; Recitation of the Rosary will begin at 9:00a.m. Father John Moran-celebrant Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. Interment: Woodlawn Park Cemetery- Westwego, La.
