Alberta Ninny Williams entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 7, 2011, ending a very special life. Beloved mother of Manuel (Nancy) Williams, Sr., Curry (Meme) Batiste, Sr., Durell (Marisa) Jones, Sr., and Valencia (Martin, Sr.) Gallot. Daughter of the late Joseph Williams, Sr. and Ora Smith Williams. Sister of the late Joseph Williams, Jr., also survived by 16 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Her life brought joy to everyone she touched. She will be forever missed but not forgotten. Age: 69 years a native of Shrewsbury, La. and a resident of Bridge City and Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Second Highway Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the celebration of life to be held at Second Highway Baptist Church 1533 Haydel Dr. Marrero, La. on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 @ 10:00a.m. Rev. Dr. Sherman R. Smith officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery Avondale, La.
