Geneva Turner Lewis entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 2:12p.m. at Canon Hospice. Wife of the late Willie Lewis, Sr. Mother of Ernestine Lewis Winston, Willie (Sheila) Lewis, Jr., Ronald (Vanessa) Lewis and the late Herbert Lewis. Grandmother of L. Michael and Sharon Refuge, Gwen & Lonza King, Dr. Allen Winston, Gail & Lawrence Jackson, Debra Pierce, Travis & Geneva Refuge, William & Pamula Lewis, Karl Lewis, Charlene & Hodges Thierry, Myra & Terrance Houston, Jackie Belcher, Quentin & Diane Lewis, Eric & Michelle Winston, and Adreonne & Derrick Houston. Daughter of the late George Turner, Sr. and Olear Bentley of Belle Chasse, La. Sister of the late Elizabeth Sadie Jackson, Leona Noonie Johnson, George, Jr., Rebecca Beck Jones, Mary Lewis, and Doris Gilson. Mother in law of the late Ronald Winston, also survived by 49 great grandchildren, 55 great great grandchildren, 1 great great great grandchild, 8 nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Age: 91 years a native of Belle Chasse, La. and a resident of Gretna (McDonoghville), La. for over 51 years Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of White Dove Fellowship, Church of Abundant Life, Dominion and Power Ministries, Regular B.C., Good Hope B.C. , Franklin Avenue B.C., and priest and parishioners of All Saints Catholic Church.
