Joseph Wilson

Joseph (Cheap John) Wilson entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 26, 2011. Son of the late Isaiah Wilson and Louisa Seymour Wilson. Companion of the late Leola (Johnnie Mae) Green of New Orleans, La. Father of Melodie, France, and Wanda Green (Bryan), Sandra (Christopher) Hewitt, Sheryl (Scott) Jones, Brian (Marcia) Green of South Dakota and the late Sheryl Denise Green. Stepfather of Harold Butler, Jr., and the late Reginald Green. Brother of Johnny Wilson and the late James, Robert, Isaiah, Nancy and Leola Wilson, and Florence Gary. Brother in law of the late Sherline Wilson, also survived by 28 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends. Age: 75 years a native and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Second Nazerine Baptist Church, Asbury Church, Second Baptist Church and neighboring churches. Employees of Bedro Price and Ronnie McIntosh Bricklayers are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, La. on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Eddie Holton officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
