Albert (Pie Man) Rogers, a retired self-employed restaurant and bar owner went home to be with the Lord, on Thursday December 15, 2011. Beloved husband of the late Olevia Howard Rogers. Father of Glynis A. (Kenneth, Sr. ) Rogers, Carlita R. (Isiah ) Curtis, Jason, Sr. (Angela) and Gregory Thomas, Varnal Simmons, Angelo ( Rudie ) Wiley and the late Carl Anthony Rogers. Son of the late Carrie Talton Rogers and Major Rogers Sr. Brother of Rosetta Hammond, Hazel & Willie Mae Davis, Gladys Tigler, Ruby, Alexander and Edward Rogers. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 5 sisters in law, 3 brothers in law and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 82 Years a native of Waterproof, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Shiloh Missionary B C, Second Zion B C, New Zion B C and all neighboring churches.
