Louise M. Paul departed this life on Monday, January 31, 2011 at West Jefferson Medical Center. Devoted wife of Joseph Paul , Sr. for 61 years. Mother of Lois Harris, Joseph Paul, Jr., Sharon Walker (Kevin), and Sheila Bourgeois (Raymond). Stepmother of Barbara Christian. Grandmother of Sheryl, Wanda, Kenneth, Dwayne, Rachelle, Joseph III, Tahshonya, Shauntriese, Sherisha, Shakele, and Shemar. Daughter of the late Charles and Rachel Morton. Stepdaughter of the late Earl Anderson. Sister of Nancy Anderson, Brenda Davis (Lum), Shirley Harness, and the late Josephine Harrison and Charles Morton, Jr. Niece of Thelma Morton. Sister in law of Doretha Jones, Gloria Robinson, Clarence Paul (Elizabeth) and the late Norman Rogers, Orea Alexander, Elizabeth Wells, Warren Christian, and Daniel Harris. Devoted cousin of Elouise Turner and Florence Forges. Devoted friend of Helen Davis. Godmother of Orinetta Common and Darian Davis, also survived by 29 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to the wonderful doctors and staff of West Jefferson Medical Centers Emergency Department and ICU Department Age: 83 years a native of St. James La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of family also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Missionary B.C., and neighboring churches. Employees and students of Faith Christian Academy, Ames Montessori School, West Jefferson Medical Center, Ochsner Kenner Medical Center, Winn Dixie # 1426, Westlake Middle School (Oakland, Ca.) , Delgado Community College, C.C.P.I. Touro, Pediatric Kid-Med, Esperanza Carter School, Vic A. Pitre Elementary School, and Positive Image are invited to attend the funeral service at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, La. on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 9:00a.m. Pastor /Teacher Thomas J. Brown, Jr. officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, La.
