L. M. Walker, a retired truck driver for Mehaffey and Daigle, departed this life at St. Theresa Hospice on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 5:40p.m. Former husband of Dorothia Walker. Father of Sidney, Stanley, Ronnie, Verna, and Ricky Walker. Son of the late Clifton and Mary Walker. Brother of Harvey, Willie, and Minnie Walker, Sue Newsome and the late Eddie Walker, also survived by 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 73 years a native of Hazelhurst, Ms. and a resident of Luling, La. Relatives and friends of the family and employees of Jefferson Parish Dept. of Public Works, Dal-Tile, and Red, White, & Blue are invited attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
