Samuel Williams passed away at West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero, La. on Sunday, April 11, 2010 he served in U.S. Army. Husband of Inez Brown Williams. Father of Elder Bruce Williams and Brenda William Badger William and the late Meredith Williams. His extended family Chaka Brown, Chianta Gabriel of Vacaville, Ca., Aviance and Derrick Rhome of Oakland, Ca. and Gary Gabriel. Son of the late Samuel and Emma Jones Williams. Brother of the late Velma (Pal) Williams. Brother in law of Donia Dean, Betty Brown, Kerron Brown, Rev. Warren Brown, and Gilbert Dorsey. Nephew of Daniel and Gloria Carter of Elcerrito, Ca. Loving and devoted friend of 83 years Leola Stoves. Former husband of the late Margarite Williams, also survived by 15 grandchildren, 11 great grand children, and numerous nieces and nephews. Age: 88 years a native of Houma, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church #3 and neighboring churches. Former employees of Celotex Plant of Marrero, La. and Ochsner Medical Center are invited to attend the funeral service at Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church #3, 441 Wilson St. Marrero, La. on Saturday, April 17, 2010 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Norman D.
