Harold Gene Halsell, a former employee of Avondale Shipyard, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at West Jefferson Medical Center. Beloved son of Eugene Halsell and the late Deloris Halsell. Loving brother of Tyrone, Terry, Brenda and Deloris Halsell, Detra Thompson, Rita Smith and the late Carl John Halsell and Eugene Halsell, Jr. Grandson of the late Virginia Iron. Nephew of Rosie Jones and the late Pearl Bradford and Gladys Iron; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends.Age: 54 years a native of White Castle, La. and a resident of Harvey, La.
