Mercedes Williams Dorsey entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 26, 2010. Wife of the late Matron Dorsey. Beloved mother of Wardell and Gregory Dorsey. Grandmother of Brittany, Veronique, and Jasmine Dorsey. Daughter of the late Rev. C. S. Williams and Josephine Jones Williams. Sister of Elnora Joseph, Inez W. Brent, Frank (Mary) Williams, Clarence (Betty) Williams, and the late Iola Price, and Charles Williams, Jr. Mother in law of Veronica Downs Dorsey and Yvette Vancourt Dorsey, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends . Age: 71 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches. Employees of Rivarde Detention Center, Glazer Wholesale, Pinkerton Govt Service Inc., Northrop Grumman Ship Service, Newman Mathis Law Firm, ASI Federal Credit Union, and JPSO, are invited to attend the funeral services at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, La. on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 9:00a.m. Rev.
