Donna Marie Washington Lee was called to glory on Sunday, July 17, 2011. Loving wife of Tyree Lee. Devoted mother of Keisha Chantel Jones and Kameron Terell Lee. Stepmother of Tyra Lynn White. Grandmother of Travon Hickson. Daughter of the late Alfred Washington and Elizabeth Stevenson Washington. Sister of Lilly (William) Bernhart, Joyce Ann Washington, Andrew Washington, Leonard (Phillis) Washington, John (Lisa) Washington and Ronnie (Kris) Washington. Niece of Alma Christen. Daughter-in-law of Thelma Lee. Sister-in-law of Montrell L. Davis; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. She was employed with Avondale Shipyard for 24 years holding several positions within the company. Donna was member of First King Solomon Baptist Church, where she served as an usher and secretary of the church. Age: 55 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Westwego, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of First King Solomon Baptist Church, Second Salvation Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Second Salvation Baptist Church, 212 Marrero Ave., Bridge City, La. on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Louis E. Phoenix-officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30am until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery- Avondale, La.
