Rudolph (Mandu) Prestly entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 24, 2011. Son of the late Herbert and Odeal Price Prestly. Companion of Emma Bell Redmon. Father of Elaine and Rudolph Redmon. Grand father of Ravan Redmon. Brother of Melvina Gordon, Mary (George) Thomas, and Sandra (David) Fairman. Special uncle of Odile Gordon. Nephew of Annie Merle Price. Godfather of Lamadrick Fairman, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 72 years a native of Darrow, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of New Jerusalem Baptist Church, First King Solomon Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at New Jerusalem Baptist Church 414 Westwego Ave. Bridge City, La. on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 10:00.m. Rev. George Davis Pastor / Rev. Louis E. Phoenix officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Ama Cemetery-Ama, La.
