Myrtle Augustine Spotson departed her earthly home for her Heavenly home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank. Loving mother of Waddie (Patrice) Griffin and Claudell (Joseph) Williams. Daughter of the late Freddie and Aline Bell Spotson. Grandmother of the late Waddie Anne Griffin; also survived by 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 89 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Gretna, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of St. Paul Spiritual Church, Second Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Paul Spiritual Church, 811 Pailet St. Harvey, La. on Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Rev. R. N. Bernard, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery- Avondale, La.
