Frank James Collins

Frank Pops Collins was welcome into the arms of his Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 3, 2011. He was a well known mechanic on the westbank. Husband of the late Madge Kitty Collins. Father of Rebecca (Melvin) Nickerson, Jackie (Kenneth Ray) Muse, Lynette Johnson, Velancia Collins, Charles (Lenora) and Stanley Collins, Michael (Martha) and Elliot Francis and the late Sally Robinson, Frank Collins, Jr., JoAnn Collins Refuge, and Sandra Collins James, also survived by a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, Great great grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A special thanks to Canon Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. Age: 90 years a native of Baton Rouge, La. and a lifelong resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Philadelphia Christian Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Philadelphia Christian Church 3127 General Meyer Ave. New Orleans, La. on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
