Rebecca Lil Ma Collins Nickerson, a homemaker and former member of the Eastern Star Organization, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Beloved wife of Melvin A. Nickerson, Jr. Devoted and loving mother of Andrea Collins (Anthony Price), Madge Nickerson (Dwayne Sumler), Dionne (Terry) Smith, Melvin (Linda) Nickerson, Darryl (Nicole) Nickerson, Stanley (Cynthia) Nickerson, Terrance (Antoinette) Nickerson and Theron Nickerson (Erica Poca). Daughter of the late Frank and Madge Collins. Sister of Jackie (Kenneth) Muse, Lynette Johnson, Lydia Francis, Charles (Lenora) Collins, Stanley (Mary) Collins, Michael (Martha) Francis, Elliot Francis and the late Sally, Sandra, Joann and Frank Collins, Jr. Also survived by 35 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 64 years and a lifelong resident of Algiers, La.
