Charles Albert Lucas, a retired master industrial electrician departed this life on Friday, December 28, 2012 at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank. Father of Cynthia Ward Patterson of Augusta, Ga. and Byron (Amy) Oneal of Luling, La. Son of the late James Lucas, Jr. and Ella Jackson Lucas. Brother of Steve E. (Bernadine) Lucas of Las Vegas, NV., Jimmie D. (LaShawn) Lucas of Greenville, NC., Rev. Curtis Ray (Mary) Lucas of Sugarland, TX., Rubie L. Lucas of Las Vegas, NV., Ella Wes Lucas of Chicago, IL., Barbara J. (Moses) Sands, Linder F. Lucas both of Las Vegas, NV., and the late Rev. James A. Lucas, Ethel L. Williams, Fruchia J. Lucas, and Dorothy M. Smith, also survived by 5 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends . Age: 78 years a native of Lake Providence, La. and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, offices, and members of Fischer Community Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Fischer Community Church 1737 L.
