Edward Cooper, Jr. entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at West Jefferson Medical Center. Son of the late Edward and Mildred W. Cooper. Grandson of the late Alice J. Washington. Father of Deborah Cooper, Catrina Wilson, Deshana Douglass, Edward Wilson, Lance Douglass, Twanda Conley, and Jeronica Coats. Stepfather of Michelle Wilson. Grandfather of the late Christopher Cooper. Brother of Barbara C. (Clifton) Allen, Albert Cooper, and the late Rosemary C. Houston, Hillary Cooper, and Ernest Cooper. Brother in law of Lou Cooper, Mose Houston, and Jeanette Houston. Devoted companion of Darlene Jones, also survived by 22 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 65 years a native and a resident of Westwego, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of True Love Baptist Church, Greater Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, House of Deliverance and neighboring churches.
