Tyrane (Big Red) Claborne departed this life on Friday August 13, 2010 at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas, Tx. Loving son of Janice Claborne and Tyrone Carraby. Brother of Tyrone and Tyranza Claborne and Latoya and Karla Carter. Grandson of Mary and Louis Price, Willie Coats, Sr., Piper Brown, Beverly Carraby, and the late Wardell Carraby ,Sr. Nephew of Lavoid, Arlisia, Detris, Wardel, Jr., and Katrina Carraby, Ruth, Michael, and Charles Claborne and the late Darrell Carraby, Ernest Carraby and Ronald Claborne. Godfather of Kai Massey, Mala Sterling and Ahmaid Ware. Godson of Venda Smith and Curtis Jefferson. Devoted cousin of Deandrea Carraby. Companion of Keisha Mitchell; also survived by 6 nieces, 3 nephews and a host of other family and friends. Age: 23 years a native of New Orleans, La, and a resident of Gretna, La. Relatives and friends of the family also, pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Zion Baptist church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Mt. Zion Baptist church, 701 Huey P. Long Ave., Gretna, La. on Saturday, August 28, 2010 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Noily Paul-officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
