Sandra Burse Payne departed this life at Canon Hospice on Thursday, October 11, 2012. Wife of the late James Payne, Sr. Mother of Arthur Lemieux Payne, Eris Payne Burton, and Gina Payne. Daughter of the late Joseph and Earnestine Burse. Sister of Emile McCarvy, James Spurlock, Wilbert Burse, Joseph Burse, George Burse, Don Burse, Carolyn Nash, Geraldine Quinn, Edna Jackson, and Linda Cooper, also survived by 3 grandchildren and a host of other relative and friends. Age: 65 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officer, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church, Beech Grove B.C. of Baton Rouge, La. Evening Star B.C., Rock of Ages B.C. and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Second Zion Baptist Church 6520 Second Zion Ave. Marrero, La. on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Bishop James Nelson Brown officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
