Curtis Royal departed this life on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Ben Taub Hospital in Houston, Tx. Devoted father of Shannon Royal Hinton and Miranda Allen Roberts. Son of the late Arthur Royal and Rosalie Winchester. Brother of Ivy Lee Decou, Marion Bouton, Gewayne Mumphrey, Barbara Jefferson, Cora Carter, and Shelita Davis, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 64 years a native and resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church #3, Strong Faith Bible Church of Houston, Tx., City of Love and Pilgrim Progress, Mt. Herman Calvary Full Gospel, New Home Ministries, and surrounding churches; San Jacinto College-North of Houston,Tx., Job Link, Morial Convention Center, Avondale Shipyard, Louisiana Superdome, New Orleans Hilton Hotel, Creek Services, and New Orleans Medicaid are invited to attend the funeral service at Little Zion Baptist Church # 3; 441 Wilson St. Marrero, La. on Friday, November 12, 2010 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Norman D. Smith III, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: McDonoghville Cemetery-Gretna, La.
