Jonathan Henry Batieste went to his heavenly home to meet his Heavenly Father on Monday, August 22, 2011. Loving husband of Anjhari Julien Batieste. Wonderful father of Briannna Reed, Jailyn, Camree and Bailey Batieste. Beloved son of the late Elnora Hughes Batieste and Henry Johnson, Sr., and reared by his aunt who he loved as a mother Sherlyn Hughes. Brother of Ungelica Moses (his twin), Amaya Hughes, Henry Johnson, Jr. and Monique Johnson. Grandson of Rosemary Hughes. Son-in-law of Donald and Sonya Julien. Grandson-in-law of Donald and Elaine Julien and Jessye Hilliard; also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters in law, other relatives and friends. He was the most phenomenal husband and father that a family could ever ask for. Jonathans larger than life personality was recognized by everyone he met and he will be missed dearly. Age: 29 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Franklin Avenue Baptist Church, 2515 Franklin Ave., New Orleans, La. on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Fred Luter, Jr.-officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
