Georginia T. Brim (Shorty, Mudda, Lulu, Mama, Grams, Granny, & Georgee) entered into eternal life on Tuesday, August 31st 2010 at 11:30pm in Leesburg, VA. Daughter of the late Rufus Thomas and Ophelia OQuinn. Wife of the late Richard Brim. Loving mother of Cecelia B. Barnes, Marrero, LA, Carrie Johnson, Ashburn, VA, Richard J. Brim (Guinn), Houston, TX, and the late Sandra B. Smith. Son raised LaMark Brim (Juaneka) Corona, CA. Sister of the late Dorether Smith. Godmother of Margaret Louis, Marrero, LA. Georginia leaves to cherish her memories 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 85 years a native of Bridge City, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Relatives and friends of the family also the Pastor, Officers, and Members of the Third Emmanuel Baptist Church, Ochsner medical center, Aerotek, Briggs, CRS Associates, Off Broadway Shoes, Dobbins BX, Lafreniere Park, Lowes, and Angels Cleaners are invited to attend the funeral service Friday, September 10, 2010 at 1:00p.m. at Third Emmanuel Baptist Church located at 187 Third Emmanuel St, Bridge City, LA. Visitation will begin at 11 am. Rev. Joseph C. Dyson, Sr. officiating. Interment: Mayflower Cemetery, Ama, LA. Repast: Gretna F.D.P. Lodge at 1820 Franklin St, Gretna, LA.
