Jacqueline Jackie Polk entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Touro Hospital in New Orleans, La. Mother of the late Jacquenique Polk. Daughter of the late Samuel, Sr. and Althea Polk. Sister of Carole P. Alexander, Alfreda P. Bruster ( Joseph), Daisy P. Woods (Michael), Donna Polk and Denise (Cookie) Sanders, Calvin (April), Cleveland, Freddie (Janice) and Stanley Polk, Sr., Darryl and Antoine Smith, and the late Annie Roby and Samuel Polk, Jr. Niece of Verlon and Maragret Clark. Godfather of Zhardae Hill and Arlene Walker. Sister in law of the late Anthony Alexander, Sr. Devoted friend of Gerald Scott, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 44 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Bridge City, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Heavenly Star Baptist Church, Greater Mt. Calvary , Third Emmanuel, and Shiloh Baptist Churches, Life Center Cathedral and all neighboring churches. Employees of Wal- Mart, Monsanto, The City of Kenner, Burlington Coat Factory, Renal South, Touro Hospital are invited to attend the funeral service at Heavenly Star Baptist Church 1020 Cohen St. Marrero, La. on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Re3v. Mack Stokes officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, La.
