John Adam Girod went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at his residence. Husband of Linda Alexis-Girod. Stepfather of Roderick Manshack and Denise Dixon- (George) Paige and Angelina Manshack (Dwayne) Thompson. , Son of the late Wilton Girod and Ernestine Hamilton-Girod. Brother of Richard (Melba) Girod, Robert (Erine) Girod, and Donald (Gloria) Girod and the late Herbert Girod, Wilton Girod, Jr., Martin Girod, and Lionel Girod. Brother in law of Shirley Smith, Denzer Veal Alcaraz (Presto), Lywood Miles, Larence Miles (Gwendlyn), and Ruffus Veal (Jeane), also survived by 8 step grandchildren, 6 step great grandchildren, and a host nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 62 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Avondale, La.
