Clarence Burslen (Bush) Roussell, a former employee of Grand Isle Shipyard entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Father of Vinetti (Justin) Fennidy, Dana (Wardell) Ferguson, and Naquia (Demond) Mott. Son of the late Elnora Roussell Gaines and the late Henry Roussell, Sr. Stepson of the late Earl Gaines. Brother of Henry Jr. (Harriet), Richard (Shirley), and Ernest (Charlene) Roussell, Marvin (Juanita) Gaines, Norma (Junius) Johnson, and Gloria (Gary) Carter, Sr. and the late Ruby McCall, Lorrainne Cullier, and Harold Roussell, Sr. Stepbrother of Marion Telton. Brother in law of Joyce Roussell. Godfather of Jemal Lovely and Nijah McCall, also survived by 7 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 59 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Westwego, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Rock of Ages Baptist Church, Macedonia Baptist Church, Avondale Church of God in Christ, Morning Star Baptist Church, Greater Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and neighboring churches. Employees of Winn Dixie, Wal Mart, Wynhoven, Notre Dame, and West Jefferson Medical Center are invited to attend the funeral service at Rock Of Ages Baptist Church 6533 Acre Rd. Marrero, La. on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Gilbert Barnes Pastor / Pastor Albert Mickel officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
