Loving son of August Samuel Martin, Sr. and the late Mary J. Batiste Martin. Loving father of Derrick S., Donna M., Debra A., Desmond S. Sr. (Ronnika), and Dominque M. Martin. Stepfather of Orlando Williams. Grandfather of Destiny, Diamond and Desmond S. Jr. Proud Brother of Lillie-Mae M. Lang (Nolan), Alerion A. Martin, Gabriel Martin all of Baton Rouge, La. Extended siblings Demetrius M. Wilson (Leroy), Clinton Overton (Tawanda), Ricky J. Overton (Debra), Sheldon J. Martin (Julia), and Jamie T. Martin all of Baton Rouge, La. Loving devoted companion Marilyn Williams, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
