Morris Griffin entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Louisiana Specialty Hospital. Loving companion of Katie White. Father of Morris, Bobbie Jean, Gail, Jenia, Lois, Michael, Cynthia, Brian, Tanya, Marvin, and Denise. Son of the late Brown and Augustine Jefferson Griffin. Brother of Saul Griffin and the late Alfred Taylor, Owen and Milton Griffin, and Daree Newton. Brother in law of Helen and Darlene Griffin, Katie Taylor and Clifton Newton. Nephew of Alice Jefferson, also survived by 57 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 76 years a native of Clinton, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Israel Baptist Church, Mt. Hermon Baptist , St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church and neighboring churches. Employees of C.
