Dorothy Mae Spencer Hall

Dorothy Mae Spence Hall peacefully entered into eternal rest at St. Theresa Hospice in Kenner, La. on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and a retiree from LSU Cooperative Extension after 30 plus years of service as a nutrition aide. Beloved wife of Frank Nicholas. Devoted mother of Cynthia Price, Constance Hall, Carolann Hall, Eugene Hall and the late Clarajean Detrion and Connie Roberts. Daughter of the late Brumfield Starks and Roxana Adams Starks. Sister of Catherine Clark, Betty Kelly, Mary Ann Williams, Ardella Bridges and the late Olivia Starks. Mother-in-law of the late Marjie Moton Hall. Dedicated friend of Ms. Barbara, Rosa Lee Thornton, Shirley Pierce and Pearlie Mae ; also survived by 15 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Age: 80 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Mount Zion Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 2200 Dumaine St., New Orleans, La. on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Mitchell Stevens, officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m until service time at the above named church.
