Geraldine Manny White entered into eternal rest at Tulane Medical Center on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 4:51p.m. She was a retired Nuclear Medicine Technician from West Jefferson Medical Center. Beloved daughter of the late Henry Butler and Edna Malliet. Sister of the late Bernice Scott and Emile August Bennette. Granddaughter of the late Clothilde and August Jasmine. Aunt of Junesther Stevenson and Fedora Collins of Los Angeles, Ca. Godmother of Gloria Brown, Phyllis Scott, Shantrell Wilkerson of Waterproof, La., Nichelle Noel of San Diego, Ca., Richelle Odenis and Joshua Reynolds; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Age: 86 years, a native of Vacherie, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, La. on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Thomas J. Brown, Jr., officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m.-9:45a.m. ONLY at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery- Avondale, La.
