Horace Joseph Flemings departed this life at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Friday, September 21, 2012. Devoted husband the late Joyce Ann Hampton Flemings. Loving father of Tyrone, Don-terry, Joyce, Rhonda, William, and Ronald Flemings. Son of the late William Flemings and Anna Rivers. Brother of Ethel Reed and the late Lenix Moore, Harold and Gilbert Flemings, also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 74 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Glory Fellowship Church, St. Stephen B.C., and neighboring churches. Employees of Our Lady of Wisdom and Blaine Kern are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis 230 Monroe St. Gretna, La. on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Lionel Hester, Sr. officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
