Alberta Snedecor Dorsey departed this life on Thursday May 20, 2010. Mother of Fred Snedecor, David Snedecor, Louberta Scott, Thelma J. Woods, and Bernice Holland. Mother in law of Doloris and Gaynell Snedecor, and Donald R. Holland, also survived by a host of 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 85 years a native of Ferriday, La and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Jehovah Witness 5325 August Lane. Marrero, La. on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at 11:30a.m. Visitation will begin at 10:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, La.
