Gloria Elizabeth Thomas

Gloria Elizabeth Thomas, a soldier for the Lord departed this life on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at West Jefferson Medical Center. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and kind to all. Devoted mother of Connie, Kerry and Russell Thomas and the late Willie and Adrian Thomas. Daughter of the late Jessie and Elnora Wallace. Sister of Nettie Qualies and the late Ellamae Jessilee and Harold Wallace; also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 79 years a native of Mobile, Al. and a resident of Algiers, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 1249 LeBouef St. Algiers, La. on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Walter Jackson-officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Cemetery-Avondale, La.
